Light at the End of the Tunnel

Mount Pleasant Habitat for Humanity is working diligently to move this hard working family into their new home before Christmas. Saturday, November 24th, was a workday. We painted and fitted the baseboards. Nishia Miller painted outside trim. The appliances are in. We are currently waiting for doors and frames to arrive, and for the plumbers to finish their work.

We are all excited. George Standford, Paul Chapman, and Tom Nuchols will be most pleased to see their work completed. Everyone is looking forward to the reception. Stay tuned.

Seeing The Light at the End of the Tunnel

Mount Pleasant Habitat for Humanity is closing in on finishing our 26th house. The light fixtures are up. The flooring is down. Almost all the cabinets are in. The range is in place. Bathrooms are almost complete.

The baseboards and door trim will have to be painted outside then installed and touched up, carefully. If you can paint and would like to be a part of helping this family move into their very own home, call Jualette Farmer and let her know. We will need a nice day and lots of help to make this work.
